  1. Previously, you could only pull up the Account Intelligence page for an account that had activity in the last 30 days. Now you can pull up any Account Intelligence page (as far back as 180 days) - and you will see the 30 days of activity prior to their most recent event.

    1. For example, if an account was last seen on January 1, 2024, the Account Intelligence page will show information for the 30 days leading up to January 1, 2024.
  2. We added the Last Seen event timestamp to the Account Info tile on the Account Intelligence page. We also added copy at the top right corner of the page, which tells you what time period you're looking at and in what timezone.

Each Account Intelligence page shows 30 days of activity prior to the Last Seen event for that account

  3. πŸ”¨ We squashed several bugs on the Circadian Rhythm tile on the Account Intelligence page. There were several examples where no data was shown -- fixed!

  4. πŸ”¨ On the Accounts page, accounts are once again sorted by their most recent event (aka Last Seen).

πŸ”” New feature alert! Verosint has added a Circadian Rhythm tile to the Account Intelligence page so that you can 1) see what hours a user is active and 2) know whether that activity is unusual compared to other users in the workspace (Outlier Activity).

For example, in the Verosint Demo workspace, this is the Account Intelligence page for [email protected].

  • He was last seen on 5/23/2024 9:44:43AM UTC (as of when this changelog was published)

  • He is active at all hours of the day, with greater activity between the hours of 0:00 and 3:00 (denoted by the length of the pie slices)

  • The RED bars denote Outlier Activity, which indicates unusual activity relative to other accounts in the workspace. Said differently, he is active during the hours of 0:00-4:00, 6:00-9:00, 13:00-14:00, 15:00-16:00, 19:00-20:00, and these are hours in which other users in the workspace are not usually active.

  1. We added an empty state for the email field in the Account Intelligence pages. If there is no email associated with the account, it will now clearly display "None."

πŸ’œ We're always looking to improve your experience.

We've improved the rules user experience by updating the following:

  • The "Signals" panel is now appropriately retitled the "Expression Shortcuts" panel
  • We alphabetized the categories, making it easier for you to find what you're looking
  • We added a new category called Risks, which includes all the boolean signals in one place

πŸ”” New feature alert! Quick Filters allow you to quickly see fraudulent account activity in the last 30 days -- specifically, Account Sharing, Account Takeover, Credential Stuffing, Impossible Travel, Multiple Accounts, and Outlier Account.

πŸ’œ We're always looking to improve your experience. We also made a few UI improvements for design consistency.

  1. The Verosint app now consistently uses the MUI KeyboardArrowDown icon for all dropdown components.
  2. When adding filters to search for something in Explorer, selecting the Operator field only would dim the background of the entire page...so we removed that effect. 😁

πŸ’œ We're always looking to improve your experience. The Verosint team has been busy shipping improvements and bug fixes to the Account Intelligence pages!

  1. We adjusted the color of the First, Second, and Third filters in the Connections tile so you could easily tell which one you're looking at

First, Second, and Third level Connections are different filter colors, making it easy for you to distinguish

  2. We take design consistency very seriously here at Verosint, so that you can easily take in the information you see on any given page. To that end, we updated our Rule Evaluations tile so that it's paginated. πŸ’œ

  3. πŸ”¨ We fixed a bug that occurred when switching between workspaces. If you are looking at a specific Account Intelligence page and then switch to a different workspace, you'll now land on the Accounts page (instead of getting an error).

  4. πŸ”¨ All of Verosint's empty state copy is grey-colored font. We updated our "No signals found" empty state message in the Account Intelligence pages to do that too.

πŸ”” New feature alert! Curious about a specific account? Account Intelligence provides a detailed snapshot of insights so that you can learn everything you need to know about an account in your workspace.

  1. Now when you click "Show in Explorer" from a specific AI Insight, we filter out the "Rule Set Evaluated" event type so you have no distractions and can quickly validate the info you're looking for. πŸŽ‰

"Show in Explorer" shows you exactly what you need in Explorer

  2. It may seem like a minor change, but we here at Verosint are all about consistent design so that it's easier for you to quickly make sense of what you're looking at.

We had some "design debt" in the Explorer side panels:

  • The IP side panel showed a sub-header called IP Signals
  • The Email side panel showed no sub-header title 😢
  • The Phone side panel also showed no sub-header title 😢

Now every side panel has the same sub-header title: Signals so it's crystal clear what you're looking at.

πŸ’œ We're always looking to improve your experience.

  1. We updated our Breached signal to return true if the email was breached at least once in the last 2 years.

  2. In Explorer, the autosuggest on the search filters was only displaying 10 results (when there could be so many more!). We've bumped that up to 50 results, making it easier to find the signal you want to search by. πŸ˜‰

Autosuggest provides up to 50 results for you to choose from!

πŸ”¨ We want to provide the best experience, so we're constantly fixing up the Verosint application.

We realized the User Agent Bot signal was not showing up in the UI! πŸ™€ That's fixed now thanks to our whiz-kid college intern. πŸ’»

πŸ”” New feature alert! The Anomaly Score helps you determine if an account is behaving normally or not based on prior account activity.

Here's a metaphor to explain that one: if you saw a guy wearing a blue t-shirt and jeans every day for a month, you'd expect him to come in tomorrow wearing a blue t-shirt πŸ‘• and jeans πŸ‘–. Tomorrow comes around and instead, the guy is wearing a red t-shirt πŸ”΄ and jeans πŸ‘–. Can you be sure it's the same guy or not?

In a similar way, the Anomaly Score looks at past event history for a given account, and then determines if future events for that account are normal (score = 0) or unusual (score = 100). In fact, an Anomaly Score β‰₯ 75 indicates highly unusual activity that's worth digging deeper into -- and generates the Anomalous Event signal in Explorer.
