Excluding Accounts From Processing
When processing data, you can exclude automated, synthetic, and other test data so that it does not change the metrics of your real business data. This makes it easier for you to analyze and understand your customer activity. Accounts can be excluded by email address, email domain, or IP address. Click the Account icon at the top of the page:
Choose Settings. Add the emails or IP addresses that you want to exclude from processing.
Excluding Data Notes:
- This exclusion does not affect historical data.
- Accounts are excluded as new events are processed.
- Events that are excluded cannot be retrieved. Adjust this filter to include accounts as new events are processed.
