Threat

In Verosint, a threat is any detection that signals an attack or a compromised account. Threats appear in AI insights and guide you to what needs attention first in your workspace.

Indicator of Risk

Risk indicators are account characteristics that could be exploited during an attack. Lowering the number of these indicators reduces your overall attack surface.

Indicator of Attack

Attack indicators are signs of active attempts to compromise an account. Monitoring these helps you determine which accounts are currently under attack and whether to adjust your prevention systems—such as firewalls or adaptive authentication policies—to mitigate future threats.

Indicator of Compromise

Compromise indicators provide evidence that a specific account has been breached. Accounts flagged by these indicators should be investigated immediately, quarantined, and restored for the rightful account owner.

Workspace

A workspace in Verosint is a dedicated environment for a team to collaborate on identity threat detection and response. Typically, each workspace corresponds to a specific environment—like production or development—and multiple workspaces are supported.
